Notary fees in California
California sets allowable fees for notarial acts; Hess Notary & Loan Signing sets our fees accordingly, as follows:
Acknowledgement (Signature Validation) – $15 per signature
Jurat (Affidavit or Sworn Statement) – $15 per signature
Administration of Oath or Affirmation – $15 per person
Certified Copy of Power of Attorney – $15 per copy
Deposition – $30 per recording, $7 for Oath, $7 for certificate
Additional Fees
We charge additional fees for Travel, Time needed for appointment based on services requested, Document preparation, Copies, and other things in addition to the notarial act itself.
These additional fees vary a bit depending on distance, time, rush, and other variables, all of which will be discussed and agreed to in advance so there are no surprises. An itemized receipt is provided upon payment for additional transparency.
